On December 23, 2006 Guilty Pleasure, as well as many, many friends and family, lost Steve Skyler to a tragic accident. He loved the songs he wrote and his lyrics reflected both his humor as well as the Classic Rock music he was heavily influenced by such as The Beatles. In addition to his contribution the the original music of Guilty Pleasure he also recreated the classic songs of his heroes with his cover band The Groove, which he was a founding member of. While many only were in this business for the fame or the money Steve truly loved what he did musically and loved paying homage to the many bands that shaped and formed his great talent.

While Guilty Pleasure will continue, Steve Skyler leaves big shoes to fill and his presence, humor and persona can never be duplicated or replaced just like his idols such as John Lennon and George Harrison. I can only imagine he is jamming with them in Heaven now!
